SUB 60 HEADLINES
Brooks Koepka secured the Wanamaker trophy on Sunday afternoon at the PGA Championship in Rochester, NY, and shared the spotlight with an unlikely hero, PGA Club Professional Michael Block. With the win, Koepka became one of only 20 golfers to win 5 or more majors in their career. The guy knows how to win, and is not-so-quietly becoming one of this generation’s greatest golfers.

GOLFER OF THE WEEK

Michael Block, PGA Teaching Professional (PGA Tour)
46-year old Michael Block (an everyday golf course instructor!) lived out every golfer’s dream this weekend, by not just making the cut at a Major, but by also finishing 15th — all while being paired with the #3 golfer in the world, Rory McIlroy. It didn’t end there, however, as Block provided the shot of the tournament with an ace on Hole #15 on Sunday. He literally couldn’t believe it:
The ace heard around the world 🗣️
Michael Block's hole-in-one @PGAChampionship was unforgettable.

If that all weren’t enough, Block has now received invites to play in two more PGA events this season (the Charles Schwab Challenge this week in Fort Worth, TX and the Canadian Open in June), and automatically qualifies for next year’s 2024 PGA Championship at Valhalla. Wow, simply incredible.

Note: Michael Block did all three of these things this week! 🤯
