Despite his absence from last week’s Charles Schwab Championship (due to his father's hospitalization), Stricker successfully secured the Charles Schwab Cup and its $1 million bonus — capping off an incredible 2023 season for the journeyman golfer.

This year, he achieved the following notable successes: winning three senior majors, securing a second-place finish in another, and claiming three additional victories in his 16 starts.

Stricker's exceptional season was characterized by consistent excellence in putting, driving, and wedge play — highlighted by the fact he led the Champions Tour in season-long scoring, scrambling, putting, and one-putt percentage statistics.

DRIVING OFF THE TEE TONIGHT

The Netflix Cup, set for Tuesday, Nov. 14, is a unique golf event featuring teams of Formula 1 drivers and PGA Tour pros at the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas.

Created to promote Netflix sports documentaries "Formula 1: Drive to Survive" and "Full Swing," the competition involves four teams, each with a Formula 1 driver and a PGA Tour pro, playing an eight-hole match, with the top two teams advancing to a final hole for the Netflix Cup title.

The teams include:

• Lando Norris and Rickie Fowler

• Carlos Sainz and Justin Thomas

• Pierre Gasly and Collin Morikawa

• Alex Albon and Max Homa

The format is a scramble, and the event will be exclusively available on Netflix, airing live at 6 p.m. ET (and later for on-demand streaming). The Netflix Cup coincides with the first-ever Formula 1 race in Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
