Sahith Theegala captured his first PGA Tour victory at the Fortinet Championship this weekend defeating S.H. Kim by two strokes. Theegala had twelve top-10 finishes prior to this weekend, including a top-10 finish at the Masters.

Coming out of college as the consensus player of the year in 2020, Theegala was on a quick trajectory toward the PGA Tour and to join the tour while still living with his parents! The young star is one of the featured golfers on the Netflix documentary “Full Swing” that came out earlier this year and he has quickly amassed a large fanbase — most likely due to this humble attitude and strong family support. This week’s win was clearly a family effort, as Theegala had nearly three dozen family members in attendance supporting him this weekend. Enjoy this one Sahith! 👊

SOLHEIM CUP
