Russell Henley delivered a career-defining performance at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational, capturing his first PGA Tour Signature Event title and a hefty $4 million prize. Henley started the day 2 strokes behind the leader, but the 35-year-old’s timely chip-in eagle on the 16th to give him a one-stroke lead over Collin Morikawa, a lead which he would never relinquish.

Despite finishing in the top 10 multiple times in the 2024 season, the win is his first on the PGA tour since November 2022. Henley jumps up 7 spots in the top 60 rankings landing him in the top 10 and is now sitting in 2nd place in the Fedex Cup standings. Donning the red cardigan on Sunday should give Henley a boost of confidence ahead of this weeks highly anticipated Players Championship just a quick 2.5 hr drive from Bay Hill.
The Florida Swing continues this week with the 51st PLAYERS Championship at iconic TPC Sawgrass, where world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler seeks an unprecedented third consecutive victory. Featured groupings showcase golf's biggest stars, with Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele forming a powerhouse trio, while Ludvig Åberg, Hideki Matsuyama and 2021 champion Justin Thomas comprise another must-watch group battling for 750 FedExCup points.
