SUB 60 HEADLINES

Bernhard Langer concluded his remarkable season with a notable achievement at the PNC Championship, partnering with his son Jason to secure a two-shot victory with a 13-under 59 in challenging 30 mph winds.

The duo, overcoming an early three-shot deficit, recorded 10 birdies in 11 holes. This marked Langer's fifth PNC Championship win, tying the event record, with three victories alongside Jason and two with his older son Stefan. Langer, a two-time Masters champion, had previously set the PGA TOUR Champions record earlier in the year with his 46th career victory.

The Langer family may have won the PNC Championship, but it was the Woods Duo who stole the show and the headlines. Tiger Woods and his son, Charlie, finished tied for fifth place, six shots behind the Langers.

Despite not contending for the title, the Woods team had standout moments, including Charlie making an impressive birdie chip from 60 feet at the ninth hole. Tiger described the experience as creating a "great family atmosphere," especially with his daughter, Sam, caddying for him. The team closed with a 61, marking Woods' second-best finish in the event after being runners-up in 2021.
