SUB 60 HEADLINES

The PNC Championship ended in dramatic playoff fashion Sunday afternoon with team Bernhard holding off a strong performance from team Woods to win back-to-years and their sixth victory in the event. While the Langers won the event, the spotlight was on team Woods who did not disappoint.

Tiger Woods’ son, 15-year-old Charlie Woods, made headlines with a stunning hole-in-one on the par-3 4th hole, hitting a 7-iron from 176 yards. This marked his first-ever ace and a momentous achievement his legendary father hadn’t accomplished in competition for 26 years.

Due to its intense competition and fun family atmosphere, this years edition of the PNC Championship was called the “greatest day in PNC Championship history” by NBC’s Dan Hicks.

Tiger mentioned, “It was the thrill of a lifetime to be able to have that moment with Charlie, make his first hole-in-one, Sam on the bag, just our family and friends. That’s what this event is about. It’s about bonding and family”.
