SUB 60 HEADLINES

Rain turned Muirfield Village into an endurance test, and J.T. Poston outlasted everyone. He finished a 33-hole Sunday, then beat Ryan Gerard on the second playoff hole to take the Memorial at 12-under.

It is his first Signature Event win and fourth PGA Tour title. Poston led by four before the field reeled him in, then steadied when it mattered most. Scottie Scheffler's bid for a third straight Memorial faded to a T12.

U.S. WOMEN’S OPEN

Nelly Korda finally has her national title. At Riviera Country Club, hosting the women for the first time, Korda closed at 8-under 276 to win by one. The clincher was pure theater. Her short par putt rolled a full lap around the cup before dropping, a finish she called "a nice ice cream swirl."

It is her fourth major and second straight after April's Chevron, making her the first player since Inbee Park in 2013 to win the opening two majors of an LPGA season. Charley Hull and Gaby Lopez shared second at 7-under, with Hull now holding five major runner-up finishes and still chasing her first.
