Hodges celebrates first PGA Tour win in Minnesota at 3M Open (Star Tribune)

Lee Hodges dominated the field at the 3M open in Minnesota this weekend winning in a rare, wire-to-wire fashion. The win marks the first for Hodges on the PGA Tour and helped him jump 56 spots to number 54 in the OWGR. Hodges can punch his ticket to Memphis for the FEDEX Cup Playoffs as he now sits safely within the top 70 in FEDEX Cup Playoff standings.

Coach Seawell, Hodges former Alabama golf coach, made the trip to Minnesota on Sunday to deliver a special surprise. Checkout the video to find out what and the story behind it!

A NEW LPGA MAJOR CHAMPION 🍾

Celine Boutier makes her childhood dream come true by winning the Amundi Evian Championship, a tournament she watched growing up in her home country of France. Boutier becomes the first Frenchwoman to win the only major played in France and becomes the 3rd frenchwoman to win a major. Did we mentioned she’ll collect a cool $1,000,000 for the win? Boutier, go have yourself a weekend!

A “HEARTBREAKING” TRADITION UNLIKE ANY OTHER

Yes, The Masters isn’t until April 2024, but the hopes and dreams of attending golf’s pinnacle event can be crushed by mid-July. Applicants had until June 20th to apply for the ability to purchase tickets and selection emails were sent mid-July unfolding your 2024 Masters fate.

For many of us, the familiar words ”unfortunately, your entry was not selected this year” rang true once more. But those who won the lottery this year, we congratulate you! For the rest of us, there’s always next year!
