Austin Eckroat secured his inaugural victory on the PGA Tour on Monday, emerging triumphant at the Cognizant Classic following weather delays that extended play from Sunday.
This milestone achievement occurred in his 50th PGA Tour appearance, a feat shared by esteemed golfers such as Ernie Els, Rory McIlroy, Daniel Berger, Sungjae Im, and Kurt Kitayama.
Hailing from Edmond, Oklahoma, and a former Oklahoma State University Cowboy golf team member, Eckroat displayed remarkable composure as he navigated the pressure of closing out the competition for the first time, ultimately clinching victory with a comfortable 3-shot lead.
Only cool, calm and collected on the outside 😅

LIVING LARGE IN JEDDAH
Joaquin Niemann clinched his second victory of the year on the LIV Tour on Sunday, winning by four strokes at the Royal Greens & Country Club in Saudi Arabia — adding to his already impressive record following his win at the Australian Open last year.

Even more importantly, the win followed recently earned invitations to play in this year's Masters and PGA Championship.
Niemann is targeting qualification for the U.S. Open, presently ranked 76th in the Official World Golf Ranking. A solid performance at the Masters could potentially secure his participation in all four majors in 2024.
Denmark’s Thorbjørn Olesen, Japan’s Ryo Hisatsune and Chile’s Joaquin Niemann have accepted invitations to compete in the 2024 Masters Tournament.
