Lucas Glover won the St. Jude Championship and first FedEx Cup Playoffs event Sunday, securing his second straight PGA Tour victory. Known for not wearing gloves while golfing, Glover overcame the heat and pressure to secure the win and 2,000 extra FedEx Cup points, vaulting him into 4th place in the current season-long race.

“It's a way to keep my hands from sweating,” he explained. “If you leave them in there as long as you can stand it and then wipe them off real quick, it closes your pores up for 10, 15 minutes. So, I do that if there's any water in the coolers when it's like this since I don't wear a glove. It literally stops them from sweating for a little while.”
The 43-year-old PGA Tour veteran now sits only behind Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler, and Rory McIlroy in the season-long race (who also happen to be the Top-3 ranked golfers in the world). Glover, ranked 30th in the world, looks to continue his incredible run this week at the BMW Championship in Illinois.
What a time to be Lucas Glover. 🙌
