SUB 60 HEADLINES

Chris Gotterup started Sunday five shots off the lead and left Illinois with the trophy. The 26-year-old fired a bogey-free 9-under 62, the low round of the week, to win the John Deere Classic at 20-under 264, one clear of Max Homa.

The kicker? His regular caddie was on paternity leave, so his brother Patrick took time off from his day job to loop for him. Gotterup was in tears on the range waiting to see if the number would hold.

It did, barely. Ben Kohles, chasing his first win in his 120th start, stood on the 72nd tee tied for the lead before finding the water and making double. Gotterup banked $1,584,000, his third win of 2026 (Sony Open, WM Phoenix Open), tying Matt Fitzpatrick for the most on Tour this season, and climbed to No. 7 in the world.

U.S. SENIOR OPEN

Over at Scioto Country Club, Padraig Harrington successfully defended his U.S. Senior Open title, closing in 4-under 66 to finish 12-under, four clear of Stewart Cink. It's the Irishman's third U.S. Senior Open, tying Miller Barber's all-time record, and he was the only player in the field to break 70 all four rounds. The runner-up finish stung for Cink, who had won the year's first two senior majors and was chasing an unprecedented third straight.

ACROSS THE POND

The Tour crosses the pond for the Genesis Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club (July 9-12), and the field is loaded. Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy headline, while Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton tee it up in Rahm's first PGA Tour-run event since 2023. Oh, and the defending champ? Chris Gotterup, riding all the momentum in the world. Three Open Championship spots are also up for grabs for the top non-exempt finishers.

A WORD FROM OUR PARTNER: PARTICLE

Most Men Notice Aging All at Once

Men's skin is 25% thicker than women's. That sounds like an advantage. It isn't. Thicker skin delays the visible signs of aging — until collagen drops. And when it drops, it drops hard: heavier eye bags, deeper wrinkles, dark spots, loss of firmness. All at once. Most men were never taught to get ahead of it. That's where Particle Face Cream comes in. A 6-in-1 formula engineered specifically for men's skin — reduces eye bags, dark spots, and wrinkles, restores firmness, hydrates deeply, revives dull tone. Two minutes a day. No complicated routine. Over 1,000,000 men already use it. Try it risk-free with a 30-day money-back guarantee. 20% off with code BH20.
