J.T. Poston claimed his third PGA TOUR title at the Shriners Children's Open, draining a clutch 4-foot par putt on the final hole to edge Doug Ghim by one shot. Starting with a three-shot lead, Poston's steady final-round 67 was enough to secure the victory at TPC Summerlin, despite a charging Ghim who eagled the ninth to draw within one.

The win marks Poston's first since becoming a father in March, and his consistency was remarkable – just three bogeys all week despite Friday's 50 mph wind gusts. A resurgent putting performance proved key, as the North Carolina native gained over two strokes on the greens after recent struggles with the flat stick.

The victory earns him a fourth trip to Augusta National and validates his refreshed perspective: "Golf is not the most important thing. Regardless of how I play, I get to go home and grab her, hug her, and be with her. That's a huge win in my book."

TGL LEAGUE 2025 SCHEDULE RELEASED

The TGL, a mixed-reality golf league founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, kicks off on January 7 on ESPN. All matches will take place at a one-of-a-kind stadium called the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The league’s condensed schedule, planned around PGA Tour commitments, will include a key triple-header on Presidents Day on February 17 with teams led by players like Justin Thomas and Collin Morikawa competing back-to-back-to back.
