Rickie Fowler finally got it done on a Sunday, winning the Rocket Mortgage Classic in dramatic fashion — by winning in a 3-way playoff (defeated Adam Hadwin and Collin Morikawa) to secure his 6th career PGA Tour victory and first since 2019. Fowler, once ranked 4th in the world golf rankings back in 2016, fell into a major slump (to put it nicely) and watched his ranking drop all the way to 185th.

However, this year has been the comeback year for Rickie, having notched 5 top-10 finishes coming into the Rocket Mortgage Classic this weekend, including a 5th place finish at the U.S. Open, where Fowler led the pack early Sunday morning before ultimately coming up short.

2 months ago, we asked if Rickie Fowler was “back”? Now, ranked #23 in the world and coming off this victory, we’re happy to report that the answer to that question is a resounding YES. Welcome back, Rickie.

Back in 2013, ESPN’s John Anderson learned why Rickie Fowler always dresses so colorfully.

From one German great to another, Dirk Nowitzki made sure to commemorate the occasion:
