Jon Rahm held off 4-time Major Champion Brooks Koepka and 3-time Masters Champion, 52 year-old Phil Mickelson, to win the 2023 Masters and don the coveted Green Jacket for the first time in his career.
Masters week provided all the drama a golf fan could ask for — including a new favorite amateur, falling trees, and several notable withdrawals.

GOLFER OF THE WEEK

Jon Rahm
Not only did Jon Rahm win the Masters this week, securing his second overall Major victory (2021 US Open), but he also reclaimed the #1 spot in the Official World Golf Rankings, leap-frogging Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy.
He became the 4th Spaniard to win a Green Jacket, following Seve Ballesteros ('80, '83), Jose Maria Olazabal ('94, '99) and Sergio García ('17). While a standout college golfer at Arizona State University (with Tim Mickelson, Phil's brother, as his coach), Rahm met his wife and fellow Sun Devil athlete, Kelley Cahill, and they now have two little boys.
COURSE OF THE WEEK

A beautiful Par-71 course located on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina (and home to the RBC Heritage PGA event since 1969), the Harbour Town Golf Links is a must-play for any golf enthusiast. Ranked number 25 on Golfweek's Best Courses you can play (US Public Access), Harbour Town Golf Links presents stunning views and a challenging set-up, capped off with its iconic lighthouse 18th hole.
The PGA Tour begins play at Harbour Town this week, on Thursday.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK
I’ve never been to heaven and, thinking back on my life, I probably won’t get the chance to go. I guess winning The Masters is as close as I’m going to get.
