Port Royal never got its Sunday. Gusts topped 40 mph, and none of the 72 players who made the cut ever teed off. The PGA Tour declared the Butterfield Bermuda Championship final at 54 holes, leaving Seamus Power (66-64-67) and Austin Smotherman (65-66-66) tied at 16 under, 197.

The tiebreaker: sudden death on the par-3 16th at 8 a.m. ET Monday, and it took three trips. Power missed a 20-footer to win on the first, saved par from the bunker on the second, then bogeyed the third. Smotherman's par made it two wins in two starts this month, and he takes home $1.08 million from the $6 million purse.

Corey Conners, Taylor Moore, and Ben Silverman finished third at 14 under.

Yuri Yoshida started Sunday four shots back and finished one ahead. Japan's Yoshida eagled the par-5 2nd, added three straight birdies, and closed with a 68 to win the BMW Ladies Championship at 17-under 271 and $352,500.

Haeran Ryu led by four and shot 73; Ryu and Hye-Jin Choi tied for second at 16 under. It is Yoshida's first LPGA win. Choi, still chasing her first after 125 starts, was runner-up for the second week running.

Bermuda proved a tournament can be decided by one wild hole. Next up is the VidantaWorld Mexico Open, and both Power and Smotherman are in the field.
