SUB 60 HEADLINES

The Ryder Cup arrives this Friday at Bethpage Black, transforming what appeared to be a quiet week in professional golf into the sport's most anticipated showdown. While PGA Tour players enjoyed their final rest before the biennial battle, the stage was being set for three days that could define careers and reshape the narrative between America and Europe.

Scottie Scheffler leads an American juggernaut into battle with historically dominant world ranking points (20.03 – nearly double #2 Rory McIlroy's 11.31). His recent Procore Championship victory extended his streak to 15 consecutive top-eight finishes, establishing him as the anchor of a U.S. team that holds four of the top five world ranking spots. The Americans haven't assembled this much firepower since their record-breaking 19-9 victory at Whistling Straits in 2021.

Captain Keegan Bradley faces the ultimate test against what he's called "the best European team ever," but the defending champions arrive as road underdogs for the first time in years. Europe seeks their first away victory since the "Miracle at Medinah" in 2012, needing to overcome both American depth and the notorious Bethpage Black crowd when the opening foursomes begin Friday at 7:10 AM ET. The stage is set for golf's greatest theater to unfold once again.
LPGA’S $2 MILLION GENEROSITY
Mother Nature won decisively at the NW Arkansas Championship, but the LPGA Tour's response was even more remarkable. After 3.25 inches of Saturday rain made Pinnacle Country Club unplayable, the tour distributed the full $2 million purse despite complete cancellation. Sarah Schmelzel and Minami Katsu, who shared the first-round lead at 8-under 63, received winner's prize money for 18 holes of work.
With the cancellation of play at the @NWAChampionship, LPGA Tour officials announce that $2 million in prize money will be paid out from the tournament purse.

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2026
The Sentry (typically the first PGA tournament of the year played in January) made golf history by announcing its departure from Maui after 26 years due to severe drought conditions affecting over 90% of Maui County.
The Sentry will not be contested at The Plantation Course at Kapalua in 2026.

The unprecedented move for 2026 marks the first climate-related tournament relocation in PGA Tour history, with Shadow Creek in Las Vegas emerging as the likely new home. It's a sobering reminder that even paradise faces environmental limits as golf adapts to a changing world.
Throwback to the 2016 Ryder Cup. Infinite aura for this dude as this kids would say.
⛳️💰 Legendary moment from the 2016 Ryder Cup where a fan was pulled from the crowd and had to make a putt for $100 🔥
