Team Europe Stages Sunday Comeback to Keep Solheim Cup in Europe

Carlota Ciganda Celebrate Team EU Victory / Sky Sports

Behind the sensational Sunday play of the native Spaniard, Carlota Ciganda, Team Europe completed the comeback after falling behind early in the tournament to win the Solheim Cup.

Carlota beat LPGA Superstar, Nelly Korda, to get Team Europe to 14 points, ultimately placing them in a tie with the US for the tournament. Per competition rules, the tiebreaker goes to the prior year’s winner, in this case — Team Europe. Team USA will get a chance to break Team Europe’s streak in 2024 (as the tournament returns to even years) on U.S. soil at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Virginia.

Another Win for DeChambeau

Bryson DeChambeau continued his hot streak with another win at LIV Golf Chicago and collected another $4M. Knocking down 77-ft putts, and shooting a 58 round — it’s no wonder he has won 2 of the last 3 events that he has played in. The way his game is coming together now, some may wonder if he should have been in Rome this upcoming weekend.
