Nick Taylor won the WM Phoenix Open in an impressive comeback, overcoming a three-shot deficit with four holes left in regulation. He secured victory with an impressive 11-foot birdie putt on the second playoff hole against Charley Hoffman.

The 35-year-old Canadian enjoyed the lively atmosphere all week and credited the fans for his late-round inspiration. The win marked Taylor's fourth PGA TOUR title and concluded a week plagued by weather delays.

Hoffman, despite a strong performance, fell short in the playoff, and Taylor's remarkable finish mirrored his emotional victory in the 2023 Canadian Open. The tournament also saw World #1 Scottie Scheffler briefly leading but ultimately finishing third, missing the chance for a historic three-peat.

TIGER ANNOUNCES SUN DAY RED BRAND

Tiger Woods officially announced his new clothing line, Sun Day Red, at an event in Los Angeles on Monday. The announcement took place near The Riviera Country Club, where Woods will participate in The Genesis Invitational this week (his first PGA TOUR event since last year's Masters).

The clothing line, launching on May 1, aims to bring a new standard to performance wear and luxury lifestyle fashion, featuring unique patterns, fabrication, and technical detailing.

The announcement follows the end of Woods' partnership with Nike on January 8. Sun Day Red, a stand-alone business unit under TaylorMade, will be based in San Clemente, California, with Brad Blankinship as its president. The brand will have its own identity and is positioned independently from TaylorMade.

At the event, Woods jokingly questioned the future situation when he achieves his 16th major victory — noting that the abstract Tiger symbol has only 15 stripes, each representing his current total of major victories.
