Wyndham Clark was declared the winner of the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Sunday, after the tournament was called off following 54 holes due to inclement weather — including heavy rainfall and strong winds.
Clark, the reigning U.S. Open champion, secured his third PGA Tour victory with a notable performance, including a record-breaking 12-under 60 at Pebble Beach. Initially postponed to Monday, the final round was ultimately canceled for safety reasons.
Despite the unusual circumstances, Clark expressed mixed emotions and reflected on his journey to victory, emphasizing the significance of winning at Pebble Beach.
SATURDAY 59 SPARKS LIV SUNDAY WIN
Joaquin Niemann clinched his debut LIV Golf title at Mayakoba on Sunday despite a tough start, capped by a playoff win over Sergio Garcia in near-darkness. He sealed the win with a birdie after a two-stroke penalty set him back earlier in the day.
Niemann's sub-60 round (59) on Saturday set the stage for his resilient Sunday. This remarkable performance was only the second time in LIV Golf history that a sub-60 round has been achieved, the first being Bryson DeChambeau's 58 last season.
7 pars + 10 birdies + 1 eagle = a beautiful 59. Well done, Joaquin.
