Gary Woodland is back. The 41-year-old went wire-to-wire at the Texas Children's Houston Open, posting a tournament-record 21-under 259 (64-63-65-67) to win by five shots over Nicolai Hojgaard and pocket $1,782,000. It is his first PGA Tour victory since the 2019 U.S. Open and, more importantly, punches his ticket to the 2026 Masters.

Woodland had brain surgery in September 2023 and revealed a PTSD diagnosis just two weeks before Houston, describing crippling anxiety and on-course breakdowns. Then he showed up at Memorial Park and dominated. Runner-up Hojgaard and defending champ Min Woo Lee hung back on the 18th fairway so Woodland could walk up alone. The crowd chanted his name. He broke down in tears with his wife behind the green. It was the most powerful moment in golf this year.

Hyo Joo Kim won the LPGA Ford Championship at Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Arizona, finishing at a ridiculous 28-under 260 to beat Nelly Korda by two. She fired rounds of 61-69-61-69, becoming the first player in LPGA history to post two rounds of 61 in the same event and setting the 54-hole scoring record at 191. Wow.

Korda's 26-under would have won virtually any other week. Lydia Ko opened with a 60 in Round 1 and still finished 8 shots back.

Tommy Fleetwood, Collin Morikawa (returning from a back injury), Ludvig Aberg, Jordan Spieth, and Hideki Matsuyama headline the field. Scheffler and McIlroy are sitting this one out. The winner, if not already exempt, earns a trip to Augusta.
